To say that it has been a busy month is an understatement. I packed up my apartment in the DC area, traveled down to Houston, moved my things into storage, got vaccinated, learned how to hitch-up and back-up an RV, bought a truck, got a Texas drivers license, wrapped up everything at work, launched a coaching business with website and blog, created this website, acquired all the gear I needed, and on and on.

I thought that I would begin the adventure early so I organized the trip down to Houston so that I could sightsee at Luray Caverns and Natural Bridge in Virginia, as well as eat some Louisiana home cooking in the New Orleans area.

Enjoyed plenty of time with family and eating crawfish. They helped me strategize and get ready for the trip. Lots of words of encouragement but mostly words of caution. But I’m as ready as I’ll ever be and ready to do this. Let’s go camping!!!!

In all my preparations I’m most proud of my latest invention. After trying to walk around with a clipboard and cover every step in order for hitching up or arriving at a location, I had to figure something better out. That was when the idea for my playcall armband came to me. Don’t be surprised if you see all the cool kids at the campground wearing them.
